Persistence Pays Off!
We recently advised a client which was a childcare business that purchased a pre-fab nursery. Given it was not-for-profit (its costs being covered by fees) we managed to secure zero rating although it took over a year to persuade HMRC of this. However, this achieved a £25K VAT saving so the moral is to be persistent!
